Glassy Sunhaters

Pro-skaters Mikemo and Vincent Capaldi set up Glassy Sunhaters in 2011 and in a very short amount of time have established a credible eyewear brand. The idea is simple - make good quality, affordable sunglasses and don't take yourself too seriously - easy. With a wealth of pro-skater mates and contacts in the industry, they have used these to full advantage with a skate team to rival any other. The team includes Sean Malto, Stefan Janoski, Guy Mariano, Brandon Biebel, Rick Howard, Jaws, Jeron Wilson, David Loy, Riley Hawk, Dan Drehobl, Davis Torgerson, Jose Rojo, Mikey Taylor and Daewon Song. With their Glassy Sunhaters, they're the coolest team around.

The current collection includes the classic shapes Leonard & Deric that come in a variety of frame colours including tortoiseshell and black & white with a variety of shade colours. The NuClear shape comes in a choice of blue, red & grey frame and a choice of shade colours. Our favourite is the Halfy which comes in a choice of two colour frame options black/gold, black/orange, black/blue & black/purple and the Tico's three colour option red/white/green. And last but not least, the signature shapes which include the Mikemo signature shades black/tortoiseshell and the Janoski signature tortoise shell shades, RAD.

With additional t-shirts and accessories in the pipe line, this brand is going to grow and grow. Here at street casuals we find the fun and playful ethos refreshing; it's great to see a brand not take itself too seriously. The future is bright - we're going to be wearing Glassy Sun Haters.
