The Gibson jacket uses Penfield Hudson Wax fabric, a densely woven fabric with a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The construction of the fabric makes it windproof and extremely durable.  Thanks to the impregnation of environmentally friendly wax the surface is also water resistant.  This hard wearing fabric wicks moisture effectively away from the body and is the perfect solution for life in the open.
